The Rio Life team is made up of volunteers only that consist of a wide variety of people ranging from students to the elderly. Always people that can't wait to show you around Rio. It's possible to get in touch with us so we can show you around! Of course we need to know in advance so we can set-up a tour for you.

Through our years of visiting Rio de Janeiro we met a lot of happy smiling people. The hospitality of the true carioca's is heartwarming. One thing is that you have to try to really get to know their life style. A few words in Portuguese make all the difference! Here is a quick start:

• Oi (hi)
• Tudo bem? (everything okay/how are you?)
• Bom dia (good day)
• Boa tarde (good afternoon)
• Boa noite (good night)

Just with these simple words the people will be happy that you are at least trying!
